I finally score a goal in soccer against real Africans
So yeah that was basically the highlight of my week. All of us here in Togo drove down to Lome to play games this morning and I went and played soccer with all of the African missionaries. Took about 20 shots but I finally scored on them. Maybe it's not such a lame sport after all. I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures of that but here are pictures of an Elder finding out he had worms, and a picture of the little soccer field by our apartment where I try to play with the kids everyday before they have class. Hope you guys have a great week.
Goat Revenge and Bro-Hugs
Another transfer week, I'll be staying in Agoe with Le Gall.
This week we were hanging out at our church building when a goat walked in through the door. He started eating the flowers near the building so I was asked to throw him out. I no sooner had thrown him out when I felt my knee buckle, this devil goat came for his revenge and left a huge welt on my left knee.
Elder Dube came to our Zone conference last week, and we went to Lome to do some business the day before. So we were waiting at our Stake Center and he came out and started talking to us, and I had no idea who he was at that point cause it was late and he is from Ghana. I talked to him for a while before we left and still not knowing who he was when we left I gave him a bro handshake/one arm embrace. I didn't realize until the next day at the conference that I had bro-hugged a seventy.
I know that the Colts lost to the Chiefs last week but this week I found a bad Chinese knock off TY Hilton jersey so that'll be my shirt for P-days for forever. Anyways sorry about not writing last week, had not time. Hope you guys all have a great week.

The Hike
So usually we walk a lot everyday doing our thing (10-15 miles). However Wednesday was a little more extreme than that. We only visited one family but they lived 25 km away (That was unknown to us when we agreed to go). So we walked 6 hours to get there on a really dusty road, was really nice because it was just open space. We talked with the family for about 2 hours and they fed us. After that we started the 6 hour trek back. All in all we walked about 50 km or about 30 miles in one day. I never knew it was physically possible to be this sore. I brought my camera to take pictures of how awesome it looked but it was dead. We're going again this week so I'll get some pictures.
